Signs And Symptoms Of Infertility In Women

Fertility is usually something women don’t think about until they’re actively trying to have children, maybe even after they’ve started having trouble understanding. It’s common for couples to experience issues with infertility. Below are some sign and symptoms of Infertility in women:

Common Signs of Infertility in Women

1- Pain during sex

Pain during sex can be a sign of an underlying health problem that may affect a woman’s fertility. It could be related to hormone issues, endometriosis, or to other underlying conditions that could also be contributing to infertility.

2- Heavy and Painful Periods

Many women experience cramps with their periods. But painful periods that conflict with your daily life may be a symptom of endometriosis. Endometriosis is a danger factor for infertility.

3- Growth of facial hair or excessive acne

Hair growth in places where a woman will generally not have hair is a sign of PCOS. Because PCOS causes the body to produce an excess of male hormones, it can also cause you to grow extra hair in a few different unwanted areas, including your face, arms, legs, abdomen, and back which suppresses ovulation and causes infertility.

4- No periods

Factors like tension or difficult workouts can cause your period to temporarily disappear. But if you haven’t had a period in months, it can be a sign that you may have problems with fertility.

5- Symptoms of hormone changes

Signs of hormonal fluctuations can be nonspecific, and a person may not notice them or know the underlying situation. Talk to your doctor if you experience the following:

  • Nipple Discharge
  • Cold feet and hands
  • Weight Gain
  • Facial hair growth
  • Decreased sex drive

So do not ignore these symptoms just visit your doctor to know the cause of it.
